Definitions
Party A: Rheem Manufacturing Company (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“Rheem”).
Party B: Owners and/or purchasers of Rheem water heaters sold in Singapore.
Warranty: Assurance that the water heater is free from defective material and workmanship and complies with applicable standards. It outlines the conditions, duration, rights, and obligations related to repair or replacement.
Warranty Coverage
- Warranty coverage commences from the date of purchase.
- Original invoice and warranty confirmation email must be produced prior to service.
- Repair or replacement decisions are at Rheem’s sole discretion.
- Replacement parts carry the balance of the original warranty period only.
Exclusions
- Improper installation, misuse, or failure to follow installation instructions.
- Acts of God such as floods, storms, fire, or lightning.
- Repairs or modifications by unauthorised persons.
- Faulty plumbing, power supply, transport damage, or fair wear and tear.
- Cosmetic defects.
- Consequential damage to property or fittings.
Limitations
- Costs due to inaccessible installation locations are not covered.
- The warranty applies only to genuine Rheem products installed in Singapore.
- Incorrect sizing of the water heater voids coverage for resulting faults.
Eligibility to Make a Claim
- The claimant must be the owner or have owner’s written consent.
- Claims must be made within the applicable warranty period.
- No claim is valid if serial numbers or rating labels are missing.
- The water heater must be installed by a licensed plumbing company in Singapore.
How to Make a Claim
- Contact Rheem and provide proof of purchase and installation details.
- Rheem will arrange for on‑site inspection.
- If valid, Rheem will repair or replace the product.
- Any costs incurred in making a claim are borne by Party B.
Consent & Data Use
By submitting warranty information, Party B consents to Rheem’s data policies and authorises the collection, use, storage, and sharing of data with authorised service partners for warranty servicing. Any inaccurate information will render the warranty null and void.
